SENDING THE WRONG MESSAGE: Mehraj Rehman accused of sending across obscene SMS messages to Bollywood actors was arrested from a bar in Hyderabad and brought to Mumbai.

He is not your friendly Bollywood fan professing love for his idol. Meet Mehraj Rehman, the man accused of sending obscene SMSes to several Bollywood actors.

The list of his alleged victims include Bollywood biggies like Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and starlets like Kangana Ranaut, Kay Kay Menon among others. But on Friday (July 27), his luck ran out as he was arrested by Hyderabad police and brought to Mumbai on Saturday.

The police seized multiple SIM cards from Rehman. But the man is apparently unfazed. Arrested last year (2006) too for sending obscene messages and making threatening calls, Rehman continued his antics even after he was placed under arrest.

Deputy Commissioner of Mumbai Police (Zone IX), V Chaubey, said, "The cranky caller was produced before a magistrate's court in Bandra today (July 30), where he has been remanded to police custody till August 1."
