There will be a wardrobe malfunction sequence in Madhur Bhandarkar’s movie Fashion .

After exposing different sections of the society in his previous films, Madhur Bhandarkar is now making a movie on fashion world. Priyanka Chopra has already been signed to play the central character from whose perspective the story will be told.

Madhur is a realistic filmmaker. And since wardrobe malfunctions are an unfortunate but inevitable part of fashion shows, the filmmaker will take a leaf from real life and include one such sequence in his film too.

The sequence will be akin to the wardrobe malfunction of model Carol Gracias at Lakme Fashion Week last year. Carol was walking the ramp when the top of her halter neck dress came off. There was another malfunction at the same event the next day when the zipper of model Gauhar Khan’s skirt tore apart.

These wardrobe malfunctions had stirred a lot of controversy back then and raised many hackles among the moral police.

Madhur is reportedly roping in a model from the fashion world to enact one similar sequence in his film. However, the malfunction will be shot in such a way that nothing objectionable will be revealed on the screen.

‘Fashion’ also features Kangana Ranaut in a character that seems inspired by the tragic story of real life model Gitanjali Nagpal.

The movie will be Bhardarkar’s most expensive project till now.
