Preparations for the film have been in full swing and now time for ‘action’ is drawing close.

Kites , the next big production by Rakesh Roshan starring sonny Hrithik Roshan in the lead role, is set to take off soon in the US. The movie will have Hrithik romancing two ladies – the Latino beauty Barbara Mori and our very own Kangana Ranaut .

The movie is set to roll in mid-July with a three-month long schedule in the US.

The film would be shot in various US cities like New Mexico, Los Angeles, Arizona and Las Vegas. After that, the movie would be finally completed in a two-month schedule in Mumbai.

According to reports, Hrithik, papa Roshan and director Anurag Basu are set to fly to the US in the coming weeks with the film’s shooting crew.

Hrithik has already been preparing for his role by learning to speak the American accented English under the guidance of a tutor.

The movie tells the story of a cosmopolitan man torn between his wife and his mistress.

Even though the film is yet to go on the floors, speculation is rife that its distribution rights have been sold to Eros International for a whopping Rs. 1 billion. However, the Roshans’ company, Filmkraft, has denied it.
