There are quite a few films releasing in and around the festive season of Diwali. While 24th October sees the arrival of multi starrer HEROES, animation film ROADSIDE ROMEO and a small film called I AM 24, on 29th October which falls in the middle of the week, EMI, GOLMAAL RETURNS and FASHION would be releasing as well. With as many as 6 movies releasing in a matter of one single week, there were questions around whether one of the films would blink first and change the release plans.

''I can't say about others but 29th October is locked for FASHION. The film is positively coming this Diwali and there won't be any more pre-poning or postponing of the film'', declares Madhur Bhandarkar who saw some mini-shifting for his biggest project till date when DOSTANA announced its release date as 14th November. A decision was taken to release the film a lot earlier but after some deliberation, 29th October turned out to be the final date.

''And this is how it is going to be'', says Madhur who is working 24x7 to get the post production in place to meet the film's release deadline. ''The entire gang of FASHION is highly motivated to get the film in theaters as per the committed timelines. We are bringing it around 3 weeks earlier than planned but that has only made us work with full vigour.''

Starring Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut and debutant Mugdha Godse in the lead roles, FASHION, just like any other Bhandarkar film, promises to be an explosive saga. This time, the 3 time National Award winner has chosen fashion industry as the subject and promises to take the film's viewers to the territories hitherto unexplored.
